Case Study 1

The Conservative Party

Problem
On this occasion, the divisional chairman required a solution to manage the committee finances, at the time, they were recording party membership, income/expenditure and fundraising using various spreadsheets which were controlled by an individual treasurer. They only produced quarterly accounting reports and a final annual report at their AGM, outside of this, only one member had the most up-to-date information and this was a potential problem if they were away or were to leave the party. The client had tried using an off the shelf solution but found the monthly subscription and inability to build specific functions did not meet their requirements.

Solution
We combined our Smart Book Keeping and Membership Tracking software as a base for the client and built in specific functionality for their needs, this enabled all authorised members to access the information at any time from anywhere in the world, it also provided real time data and structured, monthly reporting for P&L reports.

The Snug Bars

Problem
The Snug is a multi-site hospitality company, they offer the ability to reserve tables and book Cocktail Making parties at their 10+ locations, they were using a paper based diary system at each site which led to double bookings, lost information and no control for the head office team to monitor bookings and personnel requirements. To add to their problem, The Snug had tried multiple booking systems from other providers but could not find one that would work for their business due to the nature of party bookings, large parties or just those coming in for a bite to eat or something to drink.

Solution
We intergrated a booking system in to their already exisiting website, this allowed users to book for their desired bar and each site was set up to allow specific booking styles as per their floor layout, we visited each site and built custom algorithmes working with the General Managers who knew their site best. We set up a back end control panel that could be used by the head office team to oversee all bookings and eliminated the paper diaries, they switched to tablets in each location for telephone bookings and day-to-day management. Ultimately this solution saved money, with no per cover fee or monthly subscription to worry about and generated extra income in the form of guaranteed booking with deposit taking for the client.

Fenster Glazing

Problem
Our client was looking for a way to enhance their digital presence, something a little more unique in their industry, an industry that is traditionally a little less technology-centric. Alongside a brand new website and new physical marketing material, they wanted an app for their clients to be able to get an instant estimate for their glazing needs, that was easy to use and a real USP for them.

Solution
Fenster's requirements were something we had not seen before, we believe it is one of the first "estimators" on the market for their industry, it takes user inputed data, and uses a calculation to give an estimate for their double glazing, it allows users to sample frame colours and captures customer data to follow up with a full quote, we also implemented a function in their website admin area that allows them to track open enquiries.
